"Memory HD" Cinefilm transfer 

Hello my name is Chris and here at SaveThoseMemories.co.uk I pride myself on the personal touch. I have just invested £107,000 in new telecine equipment which is unique to the UK. This is because it really matters to me that you get your important family memories, whether on cinefilm, tape or slides, exactly how you want them with the right information in exactly the right places at the best possible quality. I always try to think 20 years in advance so even if you only have a few words scrawled on a small packet of cinefilm, those words are still worth saving,...I am available to discuss your needs right up to the end of office hours at 10pm - 7 days a week. Only I see your films, Only I do your work with the best transfer equipment available. Your precious memories are not farmed out elsewhere or given to a nameless technician to do. I am always happy to listen to exactly what you want to achieve, whether creating a special Golden Wedding anniversary present, an entire family archive or just a simple transfer of one or two reels or a few tapes. July news: My brand new telecine equipment has been installed here at savethosememories.co.uk. It is caled the "Memory HD" The website will be changed over the next week to reflect the new services available. It is a quantum leap in quality over what I used to be able to provide.

All other 8mm & 16mm standard definition Cinefilm services and Video / Camcorder / Laserdisc / 35mm slide services remain the same high quality with personal service at the same prices, no 2009 price increase whatsoever..

New Service 1: 9.5mm cinefilm from Pathe 1922 onwards.

New Service 2: Full High Definition (1920x1080) telecine service for all film formats available from mid-June. Available on Blu-ray or as Hard-Drive .avi files. PLEASE NOTE this will be full 1920x1080 HD. It is not upscaled HD from standard definition (SD) which is inferior. This new HD service will be at the cutting edge for 8mm (sound & silent), 16mm (sound & silent), 9.5mm (silent) and 17.5mm (sound and silent). Please give me a call if you wish to discuss your High Definition cinefilm transfer requirements.

Due to it's success, which rather took me aback, I am going to continue the special offer of a free Silver Service upgrade to all standard definition silent 16mm, 8mm and 9.5mm cinefilm orders received in July 2009 and will also include free cleaning & free colour and contrast correction (if needed) for all jobs, (you will get a soundtrack version for the price of the silent version). If there is anything you want to discuss then please ring me on 01793-495733. Colour correction takes ages to do, but it is really worth it, even on the oldest of films.

Straight to hard-drive archiving has proved so popular for both film and video that we now have a deal with http://www.svp.co.uk/ to have any USB hard drive you order from them delivered straight to me. This will save on postage and mean one less journey for your hard drive. This is one of the fastest growing methods of archiving and proving extremely popular with my customers who have larger archives and want them transferred straight to .avi file format. • I was the ONLY company to gain a recommendation by Computer Active! magazine (August 2008) I am honoured by the award and it just shows that putting in that bit more effort and going the extra mile can lead to a better archive.
• My new 8mm, 9.5mm & 16mm Cinefilm service is state-of-the-art capstan driven telecine broadcast standard transfer. This means your precious film will be safe from the many problems associated with standard projection or frame-by-frame transfer.
• All services for 8mm and 16mm film now include free digital colour and contrast correction, this new addition really is marvellous and retrieving lost colour from faded or dark film.
• All of your 8mm, 9.5mm and 16mm film is cleaned and lubricated before going through "Memory HD" telecine system, so that not only do you get clean images on your DVD or files but also your film is returned in pristine condition for further storage.
• My Black & White 9.5mm, 16mm & 8mm Cinefilm service is true "Black & White" not Black & White with a hint of Blue, Yellow and Brown which is rather annoyingly the case with some other transfer services. 
• We DO NOT use cameras for transferring camcorder footage, which can lead to inferior quality, we ONLY use professional deck-based dedicated transfer equipment by Sony, Panasonic, Bang & Olufsen.
• Our Video 2000 equipment is Bang & Olufsen, who were the only company allowed by Philips to make their own machines, therefore the transfer quality is vastly superior to a transfer done by either Pye, ITT, Grundig, Marantz or Philips machines.
• We ONLY use top quality printable Verbatim DVD-Rs, so that all printing is directly on the disc, no sticky labels EVER!
• NEW - All DVDs are now laminated after printing so they will remain waterproof and scratchproof for years, this is especially useful if you are lending your DVDs out to friends or family.
• Private and personal material is fully secure and will always receive discreet attention. As mentioned above only I do the work NO ONE ELSE, call or email me to discuss if you have any specific privacy requirements.
• If you can't visit us then return postage is always sent by First Class Recorded Delivery. If sending precious material to us we suggest using at least Recorded Delivery too.
